Demand Comparison

Compare CloudX delivery against what your demand partners report.

The Demand Comparison dashboard compares the revenue, impressions, and eCPM that CloudX recorded with what your demand partners report for the same inventory. Use it to check that CloudX and each partner agree, and to find the day, partner, and ad unit where they diverge.

Demand Comparison supports these demand sources:

  • Digital Turbine
  • InMobi
  • Liftoff
  • Meta Audience Network
  • Moloco

Set up Demand Comparison

Connect your partner accounts

In your Data Sources settings, connect each demand partner account you want to compare. You can connect and label several accounts with the same partner, for example one per studio or business entity.

Map your ad units

On each CloudX ad unit, open the Networks tab and map the ad unit to the matching placement on the partner side. Demand Comparison uses these mappings to pair CloudX delivery with partner reporting.

Open Demand Comparison

When the partner data has synced, open Demand Comparison to review your inventory.

Compare CloudX and partner reporting

Demand Comparison shows CloudX values, partner values, and the difference between them for revenue, eCPM, and impressions. You can switch between these metrics and view the difference over time.

To narrow down a discrepancy:

  • Click and drag across the chart to zoom into a range of days.
  • Filter by demand source, partner business account, partner property, or CloudX ad unit.
  • Expand a demand source to see its mapped ad units side by side.

Partner reporting is matched to CloudX delivery per mapped ad unit and report day. You can compare each partner placement with its CloudX ad unit, not only account-wide totals.

Each partner’s report days follow that partner’s own time zone: America/Los_Angeles for Meta Audience Network and UTC for the other sources. CloudX does not shift partner data into another time zone, so for Meta a small difference on a single day can come from the day boundary rather than from delivery.

Unmapped and incomplete data

Some partner data cannot be matched to CloudX delivery. Demand Comparison lists it separately, so that it does not look like a mediation discrepancy:

  • Unmapped placements: traffic that a partner reports on placements with no mapping to a CloudX ad unit, or with an ambiguous mapping. Add or fix the mapping on the CloudX ad unit’s Networks tab to include it in the comparison.
  • Recent days: only completed days can be compared. At or after 12:00 UTC, the most recent completed day is yesterday. Before 12:00 UTC, it is the day before yesterday.
  • Partner data still syncing: a completed day can still be missing partner data if the partner’s report has not synced yet. Demand Comparison flags a demand source whose partner reports do not yet cover the selected range, so treat its figures for those days as provisional.

API and CLI

The same data is available through the CloudX API and the CloudX CLI, with the same filters as the dashboard:
