AdMob estimated adapter release history for CloudX Android SDK

This page covers both AdMob estimated adapter artifacts. Each entry is labeled with the artifact it applies to: adapter-admob (GMA Next-Gen SDK) or adapter-googlewaterfall (legacy Google Mobile Ads SDK).

adapter-admob [1.3.0.1] - 2026-08-10

  • Moves realized-price capture into the CloudX SDK. The adapter no longer keeps its own realized-price store; the SDK now records the price from the adapter’s impression-level revenue data.
  • No integration changes are required.
  • Requires minimum CloudX SDK version be 4.5.0.

adapter-googlewaterfall [25.2.0.2] - 2026-08-10

  • Adds Google Ad Manager demand. This is the first adapter version to serve Ad Manager placements, which run on the Google Mobile Ads SDK you already integrate and are selected per placement from your CloudX configuration. No app-side changes are required.
  • Moves realized-price capture into the CloudX SDK. The adapter no longer keeps its own realized-price store; the SDK now records the price from the adapter’s impression-level revenue data.

  • Expires prefetched Google Mobile Ads fills after their per-format freshness window and proactively refills, so a stale cached fill is no longer served for an impression.

  • Reports supported ad formats to CloudX so server-provisioned configuration can match demand only to compatible placements.

adapter-googlewaterfall [25.1.0.1] - 2026-06-02

  • Raises the prefetch load timeout above the Google Mobile Ads SDK’s own load timeout, so a slow but valid mediation cascade is no longer discarded as a stuck load.
  • Clarifies the no-probe-labels log to list the likely causes — probe misconfiguration, the bid clearing above the highest configured probe, or a test ad — so a probe ceiling set too low is distinguishable from broken mediation.

adapter-googlewaterfall [25.1.0.0] - 2026-05-25

  • Initial release.
  • Certified with Google Mobile Ads SDK 25.1.0.
  • Supports AdMob waterfall Banner and MREC ad formats.
  • Tags outgoing AdRequests with setRequestAgent("cloudx") so Google attributes prefetch traffic to CloudX.
  • Falls back to AdListener.onAdImpression when ILRD OnPaidEventListener does not fire within 250 ms, so impressions on AdMob accounts without Impression-Level Revenue Data still reach CloudX accounting. The ILRD path emits the revenue bundle; the fallback emits an empty bundle.
  • Auto-refresh impressions on the same AdView are intentionally dropped — GMA exposes no SDK-side refresh kill switch, so v1 counts one CloudX impression per served creative.
  • Requires minimum CloudX SDK version be 4.1.0.

adapter-googlewaterfall [24.9.0.0] - 2026-07-30

  • Certified with Google Mobile Ads SDK 24.9.0, for integrations pinned to the 24.9.0 network SDK line ahead of the GMA 25 upgrade.
  • Feature parity with the 25.2.0 line.
  • Requires minimum CloudX SDK version be 4.2.0.

  • Certified with Google Mobile Ads SDK 23.6.0, for integrations pinned to the 23.6.0 network SDK line.
